Hallo! My name is Karina Frances and I am an exchange student who just got to Norway and I can't wait till I get there! I've heard a lot of things about Norway but what better way to learn about a place than to actually go there yourself?! And so, I'm off on my mind-boggling journey to discover Norway! Wish me luck!!! Well, not yet exactly. It's only fair if I give you at least a little background information first.
Okay, so far I know the capital-Olso- is suppose to be the most populous city in Norway. Which brings me to the total population which I believe is something like 5.019 million-or some crazy large number like that. Also, obviously they speak Norwegian but they have adapted to English probably because of all the tourists and that kind of stuff. I read online somewhere that like 80% of Norway practices Christianity although they do have complete religious freedom there. Their currency is a kroner (like 1 krone...5 kroner...100 kroner) but I bet they accept American money too (again probably a tourist thing). I believe they have a constitutional monarchy which includes the prime minister, Parliment, that kind of stuff. And they also have very pretty landscapes there. It's very mountainous and cold but very beautiful with things like valleys, streams, and fjords (probably very good for hiking). Oh and I got enrolled in Alta High which well, I don't know much about. GO HAWKS! (our basketball team)
Well now you can wish me luck. In a new school. In a new city. In a new country. In a new continent... You get the picture.
